Yeah I started looking into it and having a fixed caliper with 4 pistons is awesome. More clamping force is always better... So I belive that I will use 300zx brakes up front with the 300zx master cylinder, good pads and good rotors on the rear. Do some testing and adjust as necessary.

That's the setup I have right now. I also want to try the Z two stage brake booster as well as see how that works.

I'll get some pics tomorrow of the valves I got. They have an undercut stem in the head area, reducing the valve weight, the radius of the head significantly improves air/fuel flow. Fully swirl polished with Stellite tips.

As well as the Manganese-Bronze valve guides.

Well the D2's were the first of performance products purchased. I wasn't intending on taking the car remotely this far. One thing led to another, and now it's where it is.

When the D2's blow they will be replaced with one of the following. Ohlins Flag R, Tein Circuit Master(RS), or on the low end KTS/SPL.

It'll be taken off the street at the point and be a strictly track car with a touring car spec roll cage, also a much more aggressive wheel/tire package.

If you are going as far as to get oversized valves and the head ported, why limit yourself to PDM or JWT cams? I am personaly going with the Nismo R4 but im sure crane cams can make a cam with the lift and duration you would want with a turbo engine making that kind of power.

The R4 is to aggressive/too much duration for turbo applications. I probably will have something custom made by Colt Cams(manufacturer of PDM cam's)

I have thought my stuff out considerably and have reasons behind every piece of the build.=)

Yeah SI Valves is where I got them from. My camera sucks so just check out the web site if you wants pics. Either way I'm going to have to buy a new camshaft, so I think I will wait and see what veilside180sx comes up with from Colt Cams, unless I get the money before him.

Mine will be custom ground to work with the solid lifter conversion. So as long as you intend to run that..you'll be set. I also won't have mine done for a year. Hope your not in a huge hurry.=)

Yeah I plan on running the hybridka solid lifter conversion. I have 2 full sets of complete valvetrain that I am not going to be using, good thing I kept those for the core. I will most likely be wanting a camshaft within 6 months so I'll have to get one first.

Good you can guniea pig it...I'm sick of it.=) j/k

In order for me to get the most out of it...I'd really want to be able to up the boost with a built block. As i would imagine it will take me 2-3 tries to really get what I want out of the cam. You also have to remember that my intake manifold will alter my power band a little as well due to the large plenum and short runners.

Maybe i should start with getting my car running, before I plan on changing things already.=)

I already have 2-3 revisions for later upgrades.=)

None whatsoever...because it will have them.=)

On a previous SOHC build that never wound getting turboed and was sold. We installed them on that block. It's not even all that difficult.

As long as he's a decent builder and familiar with Nissan's he can. SR's and KA's use the same squirters. So you can acquire them from either one. FYI.

This is a pic of an USDM NA SR20DE, but the placement is identical on the KA's. You have to tap into the oil galleys. Your machinest should be able to figure it out from the pic.

Well I did the unbelievable today. I purchased a GP Sports G Sonic Replica kit today. I wouldn't of purchased a copy if I didn't know I would wind up trashing it or something. We'll see how well it fits when I get a chance to put it on...

Will take pics later as well.
