car pops and crackles when i get on it!

Just seeing if anyone knows what could be it only happens at higher rpms and hitting the gas pretty hard

You’ve got a pretty vague description of what you're hearing.

What engine?
What mods?
Where’s the noise coming from (engine, exhaust)?

Judging by the little you described, it might be detonation (bad).

My bad . Rb25det not 100% on where noise comes from its basically all stock just changed the plugs with 95 300zx tt plugs had a faulty wire to injector had to make new wires that's the only thing I did yo it recently

Cleaned the maf with electrical spray? Had some K&N oil on my SR maf and did the same thing. Cleaned and no more pops at high rpm/hard accel.

thanks guys i had a hunch it was my plugs... they are white and running to hott pulled them put the old plugs back in and now its happy! im going to stop being nice to this thing it likes being treated bad!

sounds like destructive lean pop to me. ever heard a turbo car at full boost running at like 17 or 18:1 afr? what afrs are you at?

I don't have a afr gauge ... it was the plugs they where running to hot I switched them and noe I'm good to go

get some ngk bkr6e plugs next time you swap them out. best plugs i have used so far in my rb
