s14 rear brakes smoking

I just changed my rear left brake pads(hawks HP+ on brembo blanks) now they make smoke and they smell like overheated brake pads. Any Ideas how to fix this problem

ummmmm verify the calipers are seized and replace them.

Maybe the Ebrake is locked up.

mech fail: caliper seize or e-brake mech fail
or

i'd get dot 5.1 fluid.

stock brakes can easily overheat if it's a fast course. I did it with my hp+ pads and i have 5.1 fluid and stainless lines.

Really you're gonna wanna upgrade, stock 240sx brakes are shitty.

Dot 5 is bad. Dot 5.1 is good.
