SMIC to FMIC = no boost.... HELP!!

i just converted my sr20det side mount to a front mount but now i cant hit boost. It runs fine and i have vacuum. Any ideas what it could be???

i think the couplers should be fine.. they are all as tight as they can go. anything else?

Recheck all your work. You have to have a leak somewhere. Make sure nothing is open and everything is hooked up and tight.

Yea 'tight' doesn't mean they don't leak. Build a boost leak tester and test it. Search how to do it.

I got a leaky coupler that I can't get to seal. It's fucking garbage.

SOo, i'm pretty sure its has something to do with the wastegate... i pulled the line connected to the Wastegate and was able to get boost but i didnt attempt to hit my full boost because i read that it could have negative effects on the engine. what do i do now?

ALSO, when i hit 3100 rpms or above, there's a loud whoosing sound (someone said its my wastegate staying open?) should i just replace my wastegate? or can i do something about it?
