quick question, 75 bucks per person or 75 bucks per car? also, does it cost anything to have ride-alongs?

alrite! good job ppl! Glad to see the list almost at the minimum of 40 [as of now]...! I just wanna say lets get the max # of ppl to go to this [66], so they kno they can expect us if they have more events! Spread the word!
"does it cost anything to have ride-alongs?" NOPE, just need a snell95 or newer helmet. If its anything like SFR, they will have like 2 loaner helmets if u leave ur license with them while u have it.

sweet, its over 40 ppl now :] Any local ppl got tips on what to bring/not to bring? Safe to leave rims laying around?

At autox events at Stockton there's a security guard around, but this isn't a normal autox, there'll probably be more people (especially spectators), hopefully they up the security level to orange or something.

Yeah seriously... I don't want to leave my VSKF's lying around... but shit who's dumb enough to try and steal them... I'm sure they'll have something figured out. I guess I'll just have to bring the my own guard or something.

i wish there was some other way to register besides by mail.. sheesh. why dont i just send a telegram by horse and carriage? Looks like i might be able to make it after all. i'll be sending my payment tomorrow. hopefully it will get there on time. Also..since the registration is by mail, that leaves it open to taking too many entries. What if you get flooded by last minute reg's? I hope you guys already thought that one through. If 100 people show up....

haha... stupid drifters and their last minute-ness... Aw good, maybe theyll have drift the day after too if that happens!! They DO have the lot reserved for both days, BUT the 2nd day supposed to be for AutoX Practice. They make more money off this event I think, but they might also want to be loyal to their paid members :/
Anyway, Anthony240 and MA71supraturbo, u guys local? I read post b4 about stockton ppl jacking stuf but wasnt sure how serious... Anyone kno sumone who is just going to spectate and is coo with watchin stuff? We can have a Zilvia pit row... haha... or pit lot area since its an open lot...

I autocrossed there a number of times when competing through the Sac SCCA. I never had a problem personally, but had heard enough 2nd hand stories to ensure I left nothing valuable unattended (just get a few people you know to put all your things in the same area so you all can alternate keeping an eye on them) |

I never see or hear anything about people jacking shit in South Cal. It happen in DD6 which was San Francisco and NCDA. WTF is up with you idiots stealing from each other?
I can leave all my shit outside when I head out to SCAL and no one even bothers to touch shit. Here in Norcal, fucking idiots peeping my shit see what they can fucking steal. I hope nothing goes on like that on this event. I already have events going for April, May and June here in Norcal. Now that I think about it, I might hire a stupid security. -Al |

It's not norcal as much as this particular venue. It isn't a huge issue, just something to be aware of. If I thought my 8 spares and tools were going to get jacked, I wouldn't go. But I just take extra precautions when I go to the stockton fairgrounds -- thats all |

I know what you guys mean in regards to the snail mail registration deal. I talked to them and this will change in time. Remember, this is the first time for SCCA and we are lucky to have one here.
Since I've been racing in Stockton, I never had any problems in regards to thief. SCCA will not be responsible for any missing items so I suggest watching your stuff carefully. See you all there! |
