pfc sr20 cold idle problems????
i have a power fc on my s13 with a steve shadows tune in it, its good at wot but cold starts are terrible, it will stall out 5 or 6 times after 7 or 8 seconds until the water temp starts to warm up, i believe my problem lies with the water temp correction tables, i have played with it and no luck, i have noticed that my wideband goes lean right before it stalls out, so does anyone have cold water temp correction values that work?
thanks in advance |

best thing we can recommend is to obviously talk to your tuner first.
did you use his online service or did you get it physically tuned by him? which power fc do you have d-jetro/l-jetro?

the problem is the fuel map. add fuel to the area of the map where the cursor is on the map trace during idle. add fuel to adjacent cells also

i have the map based version, also i tried to mess with the water correction values and it definetly helped a lot!! i know i need to get it on a dyno and get a better tune but this is working until i find a excel pfc tuner around pa, i dont have datalogit software i to have the commander though, but if you can be a little more clear about what columns to change i can do it through the commander thanks in advance

on the commander screen there is monitor settings and etc. choose monitor. on the next screen it will ask you to choose 1-8 channels to monitor(boost, water temp etc) or map watch choose map watch. the dark cursor is the cells being currently used by the engine

rt tuning is in landsdale. but matt deff hooks it up with tuning. good people there and you prolly seen him drifting. he holds those "drift camp"s with like elite jdm and whatnot. and no problem. where in pa are you?
