SR CAS Tach signal + Coil pack signals

I am still on the search for how to hook up my Defi tachometer. I have a MSD tach adapter and I tried to hook it up to the coilpack wires and nothing.

I have read that the signal is sent from the crank angle sensor. Would anyone know where that wire would be?

Also the wiring for the coilpacks what would those wires be? There are three wires on the coilpacks...

also does anyone know anyone who has an aftermarket tach with an SR20??

1989 with a SR20DET.

Any help would be appreciated.
