Coilover installion question

Hey guys i have a quick question, when i unloosen the rear coilovers and push it off the spindle, the arm/spindle wont drop down as it is untensioned. I have to jump on the spindle for it to go down. Why is that?? I remember my previous 240 never had this problem.

thanks

Could be that the rear links weren't torqued with the weight of the car loaded, and the rubber bushings are binding? Are the rear arms stock or aftermarket?

Its because you have a sway bar connected from the lca to the lca on the other side of the car and you are fighting the sway bar.
