SR SR20DET wiring main ing pwr, 02 sensor pwr, and coil pack pwr

I ran into some confusion when i was soldering the Black/red stripe wire, Blue/red stripe wire and the brown wire. FRsport notes that these three wires should be soldered together.
SR20DET Swap Engine Harness Wiring Diagram Guide SR SR20
I followed the write up they have, but i just want to verify with the zilvia community if i did this soldering part correctly.

I'm a bit skeptical because that's alot of current flowing through these wires

Yup, they're all switched +12V. Make sure you've got at least 10A on it though, cause the ECU/sensors/ignitier/coilpacks pull about 8A at full tilt.

If you have any wiring questions, shoot me a PM, I pwn harnesses all day long

I noticed on my SR Harness there were two blue / red stripe. One wire is larger than the other. Do all of these wires go together with the red / black?

^^^ Yup, I believe so. I'd have to know where they're going to tell you for sure, but it sounds right.

If your talking s13, the front plug behind the passenger headlight then no. The thick blue/red and the thick Black/red both go to the thick black/red. I think it was black red, either way the three thickest wires. The thin blue.red goes to the other thin blue red.

They're all ignition switched +12v - black/red is black/white elsewhere, and actually goes to the switch (and is fused by the green 30amp fusible link), blue/red is coilpack power, fused separately at 10amp.

I have a question pertaining to this. I am switching my harness from s14 to s13. I found and followed the black/red wire in the s14. I CANNOT find the same wire in the dash harness on the s13. Where is the end of it that connects to the black/red wire in the sr harness?

Good question! There are a few things different between the s13 and s14 body harnesses... First of all, the s14 feeds ignition-switched +12v to the ECU harness via a single black/red wire - the s14 engine harness then splits this everywhere it needs to. Constant +12v is supplied by a small red wire with a silver hash mark on it, and feeds the ECU relay (which allows the ecu to turn itself on and off). If you're using a s13 harness in an s14, you don't necessaily have to wire in a relay, you can just take all the leads from the s13 power plugs back through the firewall and connect them to the proper wires on the s14 power plug (m63/f3 in the fsm). Not all the wire colors match though, and you'll have to save the wiper wiring from the s14 engine harness if you want your wipers to work.

What I dont understand is where the wire connects to now. I removed my s13 sr engine harness from my s14 chassis. Now in the s13 chassis. I cant seem to figure out where the ignition power wire connects in the s13 chassis. I guess theres supposed to be a plug from the s13 dash harness that the engine harness connects to near the ecu. Mine was cut out. So now I have to hard wire the harnesses together, not a problem, except, I cannot find this one wire not can I figure out what wire it goes to.

I mean, it says to connect it to the black with red wire in the harness, but I dont have it. My car is caged and I cut the dash out today and opened the harness to still no find it leading to the passenger side. I followed for reference in my s14. Am I missing somthing? I cant get a usuable s13 fsm link ANYWHERE so im stumped on this now. In the S14 thes 2 wires were just connnected via a locking type plug. I had to cut that plug off the sr harness to switch them over when I saw it wasnt the same in the new car.
