Need help with push to start engine button.
Hey folks,
I'm looking for some help with my ignition wiring for my 95 S14. I've been experiencing issues starting the car intermittently that I have isolated to the ignition barrel/key. I have replaced everything else at this point. My work around is to wire up a momentary engine start switch to use when my key fails to start the car. I want to be able to use my key aswell, and to require the key to be in the ignition to start the motor. I'm struggling to wrap my head around the wiring of the circuit, I was wondering if someone could take a look at what I plan to do below to make sure that I'm not going about this in the wrong way. |

When you say fails to Start the car does that mean its not sending signal to you starter when you turn the key? Or sending signal to the starter and not getting ignition?

Not all of the wire colors on the switch match the diagrams, so I suspect the diagram colors are for the harness connector that plugs into the ignition switch. Can you post a pic of that to verify the wire colors?
