Backyard S30z
1978 280z:
I got this car for $500 back in 2005 when I was 14. After awhile me and my dad pulled out the engine and rebuilt it. I found a header at the local junkyard for $38 Then I got some enkei ek98's for free from a family member that had them just sitting in storage. I started doing body work on the car and painted the car. I didnt like how the paint came out so I sanded it back down and started over. I stopped working on the car for a year or two. Then last year I started working on it again. I once again got the car ready for paint. My dad painted it in my garage. I made a roof spolier. Soon after I got adapters for my ek98's and started to polish and repaint them. About two months ago I bought some Koni's (8610-1436) i alslo bought coilover sleeves and springs. I sectioned my struts and installed the coilovers. This is how it sits now after the suspension settled some more. |

What the hell is wrong with everyone lately using the "umad?" line when they can't think of a legitimate response.
Z looks great, saw the pics of HybridZ, the wheels look great with the car's color. I have the same wheels also, never knew what model they were, so thanks for clearing that up!

Looks good, but is your rear caster super fucked or is it just me?
Your rear wheel looks super far forward in the last pic. Maybe i just havent seen many Z's from that angle. Props for doing ll the work at home and on a small budget. And I always love seeing other negroes on here.

You retarded bro? Quote:
You said you had to use adapters for your wheels? Is it because they were a different lug pattern or you needed a spacer of some sort? Just seems like the lip on the wheels isn't as deep as you normally see on a Z with flush wheels |
