300zx Z32 Brake Swap for 1995 240sx s14.

Hello there,

So I have a 1995 Nissan 240sx S14 se. I just recently bought a 300zx master brake cylinder and the brake booster off someone for a good price.

I'm doing a Z32 brake conversion and I'm just curious as to which brake calipers from 300zx will fit my s14. Should I try and get a 1995 300zx ones or will a 1991 and up calipers work just fine?

Reason asking is because the 1991 looks a tad different then the 1992.

1991 Nissan 300ZX Disc Brake Caliper in Canada - Canada 1991 Nissan 300ZX Disc Brake Caliper

1992 Nissan 300ZX Cardone Disc Brake Caliper in Canada - Canada W0133-1722126 Disc Brake Caliper Canada

I'm doing the fronts first.

Hello, on this forum we have a tool called the "search button". You can use it to "search" for information that has been covered thoroughly and repeatedly rather than creating a new and redundant thread. Also, there is this new invention called "google" that is equally useful.

Thanks for being a jerk, I'm new to the forum. I've tried google and its just brings me to more forums about people ranting about the calipers but not really helping. I'll try this search button you speak off.

any of them will work If u need to know detail, iron ones suck imo, I have a s13 coupe with s14 flca, spindles and hubs so same setup as you have and I run 90 twin turbo calipers which are 30mm aluminum. hes just saying that cause its been asked countless times

as for rear, you will need any z32 300zx rear caliper, the whole backing plate assembly with shoes (cause 240s are integral handrake, z's use a drum/disc combo) and then for s14 im pretty sure you need r33 brake cables. s13 use z32 2+2

edit
wow, the reason they look different is ones rear caliper and ones front
not trying to be a dick but i would research a little before u try do it, but everything you need I stated

Hi, I tried to search it on Zilvia and the page won't load. Google I'm following a forum already.

The Definitive 300ZX Brake Swap Paqe

I understand what you said and I can see why. Its just the rotors for the front I bought are 30mm, I just want to make sure that if I get 91 and up aluminum 300zx z32 brake calipers that my rotors will fit is all. Like size comparison. Because from what I heard is that z32 brake calipers come in 3 sizes. 26mm cast iron, 30mm aluminum and 30mm cast iron.

Thanks for the help and your time.

Meh actually IIRC
It's 26mm aluminum, 30mm aluminum and 30mm Cast Iron...

I'd say go for the 30mm aluminum...

You can always run 350z track rotors on that.

Don't confuse the guy. He already doesn't know what he is doing.

Is your car an automatic? If so, sell the Z32 booster. Do you have ABS? If not sell the Z32 BMC as well. You do not need any of those components to run 300zx brakes on a non-abs automatic S14 car.

As others have stated, sit down and do some searching and reading because you need to know what you are getting into.

I'm not confused. Yes it is automatic with ABS. I know I know need the BMC and Z32 brake booster to run the z32 brakes. The brake booster will feel the same. I got them free so gonna do it anyways with the brakes.

I already got my 30mm aluminum brake calipers. Found a oem manufacture part sheet from Nissan saying what year of calipers are the 30mm. I already did my research but even still re posting it on here doesn't hurt if it has already been posted a million times who cares.
