Best 4 lug brake options

Im wanting to upgrade my braking while still retaining my 4 lug wheels.

I was going to start with some better pads, maybe some EBC's. And get some SS brake lines. Can anybody tell me anything else that might get me a little more stopping power?

lug pattern has nothing to do with your brake calipers.

you can always find 4 lug rotors to match or redrill them

you just need the correct sized rim to put over them.

just use 300zx brakes or q45

I have full z32 brakes all around including the ebrake, and i still have 4 lug wheels all around, the front and back calipers just bolt right on, and the only thing you need is a z32 brake line, oem or stainless steel. i also had z32 rotors drilled

the ebrake assembly bolts right on the 4 lug hub

i use the bm-50 bmc, though you can use the 57 too

rokmplutonium: can i have some money? seeing as you can afford the project mu stuff for s13 sets off many alarms which say you have enough money to give away since you gotta be rich or well off to own project mu. so i you wanna give me money pm me and i'll give you my paypal address

Its going to be drifted occasionally. I might sound stupid, but will the rear stock brakes lock up good when you e brake it? My stock e brake on my old 86 was crap.

And one more question. If I get some q45 calipers, what 4 lug rotors work with them? I dont want to have to take them to get redrilled

eBay sells front Q45 rotors drilled to 4 lug. And/Or I think there is a company that advertises on here. It's only like $100. Pretty cheap, and they work awesome.

95 Maxima cailpers, and 95 Altima Rotors with good pads. Larger then US stock. Same front brakes as jdm s13's. No need to change master cylinder size

I had Q45 calipers (and Altima rotos IIRC) on my last 240... did not like them. The fronts grabbed harder than the stock rear, felt unbalanced.

The rotor is close to the same size. The Q45 is a dual piston caliper, the Maxima is a single piston caliper.

Thats way too much work and money than I can spend.
All I really wanted was something that will get me by for an occasional drift event.

I hear ya. I plan on buying a set of 4 lug Brembo rotors & Hawk pads off eBay. If I get to it before you, I will be sure to post my results.

ok, a few months later I see this.
this is on an S13? if so,may I ask what year Z31? front or rear on the rotors from the alty?
I need to upgrade my S13 to some bigger rear brakes to balance out my fronts a bit.
