F1 Chromoly Lightweight Flywheel

Just saw this flywheel on ebay. I was looking at using a spec flywheel, but then came across this one. Does anyone on here have any experience with this company or flywheel?

Thanks, the link is below.

I ran their whole setup on my KA. 6 puck unsprung with the 11.5lb flywheel. drove fine, easy rev up, my 6 puck was the only thing i had issues with after 3 years of daily, and track use. I've heard people buy this flywheel and use the spec clutch and pressure plate.

It looks like a good deal but it makes me nervous to hear about it exploding. I am looking at making around 700whp and I am going to use my spec stage 3 clutch.

You're building a 700hp SR and you're going to cheap out on a part that can explode and send shrapnel hurling though your car and into your face?

Stockish, I wouldnt worry about it...700hp, you dont need this flywheel. You need to get a triple plate clutch kit.

You seem to be knowledgable about things like this. Obviously from the horsepower that I am going to be running is it even worth switching over to a lightweight flywheel or just stick with the stock one. BTW this car is going to be a drag car and I have read some threads about inertia with big turbos and the loss of boost in between shifts compartively between heavier and lighter flywheels.

Last non-multi disk setup clutch Ive run was a Nismo FW with an ACT 6 puck. That was good for an all around car on a GT2871R. Not exactly a monster but it was good for me. Personally, I dont think a lighter FW would make a difference dragging. Just dont lift when you power shift and it wont matter if youre running a 24 lbs FW or a 11 lbs one.

^QFT. You just need to buy one that is really strong and doesn't explode on you. =P

Not necessarily, if you inspect the parts they can be legit. I know a couple of guys who are pushing 600-700 hp RB25s on Egay parts.

I understand what everyone on here is saying. The thing that surprises me the most is how people start flaming me over the fact that I am trying to determine that this a legit quality part. There r name brand parts that I see people flame on here because they had a bad experience. This is especially true considering how many people on this site constantly buy. grey market seats and parts. Just because the part isn't made by tomei or greddy does not necessarily mean that it is a bad part. I was just looking for input and nothing else. So if u don't have any useful info to provide to this thread than don't post.

Honestly, if you can't figure out if the part is legit or not, you need to make friends who really know their metals and mechanical design. You have to be careful of trusting someone's word on the internet since they're not taking part of your transaction for the flywheel.

Is F1 racing flywheel good? I do not know. Look up other car forums and see if anyone has complaints about F1 racing, like RX-7s and DSMs.
