KA KA24E Head Questions

So after driving back from Augusta, I discovered a pretty gnarly oil leak towards the back of the head. Changed out the valve cover gasket then went to put everything back together when lo and behold, one of the v/c bolts was spinning freely! After taking the cover off again and checking the threads, most of them are already shot. I'm guessing someone has either swapped the head or the engine at one point and time. Any ideas on how to fix this besides grabbing a new head?
