S14 dual caliper setup question
Is it possible to run my factory s14 rear calipers, and use a z32 caliper for my hydro? I'm trying to keep the operation of my parking break and use my z32 rears for just the hydro. I have a hydro with a pass through, and also a Wilwood cylinder set up for independent hydro, just trying to figure out which route I want to go.

No
I just yanked my pass through system out and will be going dual caliper with a separate stand alone hydraulic circuit to run the OEM calipers, leaving the OEM hydraulic brake system to run the larger Brembo calipers. Reasons?
1. Brembos flow much more fluid. Adding more brake line to the already overloaded system is not a solution. 2. Custom brake lines ALWAYS FUCKING leak, and trying to chase down and correct them over and over is a pain in the cock. 3. Bleeding a inline hydraulic handbrake setup takes longer and requires more patience than a Rubix Cube. BOTH of which I'm not willing to devote time to in hopes of completing successfully. |
