Wasn't able to get TOO much done in the past few weeks but I got the last bit of funds I needed to get the car running and driving hopefully by mid next week.
Almost finished removing all of the sound deadening, just gotta get the residue off. Got my power steering stuff done pretty much, just need one more line made. Return and high pressure are -6, feed is -10. Cost me about $120 for everything. Clutch line all done. COMPLETELY deleted ABS, modified one of the OEM lines for the rear brakes, then did custom lines for the front brakes. I used the drivers side brake line that runs to the back into the bulkhead for the ABS pump, rebent it, cut it, flared it, and used a 10x1.00 female to female fitting to tie into the existing "T" fitting for the rear brakes. On the front I used 3/16 tubing and -3 fittings with two 90* bulkheads on the fender wells, and one "T" to the BMC. The line that goes from the "T" to the front passenger side brake runs right along the front of the cross member. I actually had fun doing this, didn't even take that long with the proper tools! This is the lines that runs along the cross member, got it the first try :driving: Also worked on the engine harness. And one more of the engine. It's actually starting to look like a real engine bay, lol More to come! The car is at my house again now |

NT21, video of start-up once it's completed? BTW, the bronze XD-9's look baller! Max tire tread=max grip. I see a Speedhunters highlight in its future.

Partied a little too hard this weekend and didn't get all the shit I wanted to get done finished. Modded the shifter to get rid of the retarded bends and also shortened it. Got creative with the piece that got cut off since it had some nice weight to it and made it a shift knob, lol. Installed a new shifter bushing and gasket as well.
Before. (it's in neutral btw, lol) After. Engine harness is also finished! Before. After. Gotta wire this baby up too. Car as it sits in my sweet, spacious garage -___- |

awesome,
im shitty with wiring, and on my 2j z33 swap, that'll probably be my biggest obstacle. I was wondering what all did you keep on the stock 1jz engine harness, what did you cut out? did you keep any of the z wiring? also, where do you get new clips/or those fancy mesh loomed wires from. thanks, keep up the good work!

Before:
After: I'm EXTREMELY happy with how it came out! Used some Dupli-Color bedliner and it looks rad IMO and should hold up really well. More pics.. Also, I made the new hole in the fire wall for the harness. Pic of the harness all plugged in. |

_________________________________________ Got some work done this weekend! And turned 21. Don't know how I'm still alive. At least I didn't get robbed this time. Slimmed down the OEM harness, now only the tail light, tag light, and fuel pump wires are present. Just gotta put some loom on it now. Got le wheels and tires mounted. Fronts are 18x9 +20 with a 15mm spacer and used 235/40 Hankooks, rears are 18x10 +18 with new 275/35 Nitto 555's. I love how it ended up looking, just gotta lower the car a tiny bit because it seems to have went up in height from losing so much weight :bigthumbu Teaser all the wheels on and Mishimoto intercooler, Koyo Z32 radiator, Mishimoto fan, and most of the piping on. Gotta take the piping to get beads welded on and I wanna powder coat it silver or krinkle black. Also, I'm not gonna use the HKS SSQV. I really hate the blue couplers -___- |

Man... love the 1J so much! Build is making me jealous, I need to start my s14 1j swap.
But I have a feeling you're gonna hate the 67mm on it, specially for drifting. Gonna pretty laggy. |
