Why does my car die when i Press on the gas?

Hopefully i'm putting this in the right thread.

Okay, I've had my S14 for about a month with no issues. Last night when i started it up, it started idling a bit weird. It usually idles at around 1k. It dropped to about 500, went up and down again. I put it into first gear and it died on me. I thought i just stalled by letting of the clutch to early but once i started it up again, the same thing happened. Eventually the car wouldn't idle unless it was on neutral. The car would back fire like crazy too when i tried pressing on the gas.

Today i checked the pressure on the fuel filter/ pump and it was really low so i changed it. It worked well, seemed to fix the problem. Now about 5 hours later, i was about to leave to my friends house and i felt the car idle a bit weird so i waited and two minutes later, the car died out.

What could it be? This is my first car i've owned.

You have to post more info on the car.
What engine? KA? or SR20det? stock ecu?

What did you change? the pump and/or fuel filter?
I assume you detected low pressure via a FPR, correct?

Sorry, guys. It's a Ka24de. Bone stock other than some tokico shocks and some exhaust the previous owner had on.

I only changed the fuel pump and yes. I checked the pressure again and it's reading fine.

Seems like the problem stopped. Drove it around all day without a problem.
