How'd you get the s15 into the US. I thought they couldn't be imported.

BEAUTIFUL S15! I kinda liked the rims black, but thats jus me nevertheless Im still hatin lol

If you guys were lookin to import cars i recommend lookin at this website...Japanese used cars. Used Japan car exporters. Used Japanese car dealers. [ tradecarview ]

I got a crazy deal on the motor! That is the only reason I didn't rock a s14 motor, and with it being fully built now I don't think I'll care about the power difference between the motors.

Waiting on some more parts but I'm thinking another two or three weeks.

Well I sold that like a year or so ago then built a STi then back to NISSAN!!!

am i seeing things? i just searched silvia, and a 98 kouki is priced at $3k SHIPPED to long beach?

Yea i think you are lol It's like 3k for the car or whatever price it is, n then you gotta pay however much to put it in storage while Customs inspects it for like a month or 2 and then i think thats when you get it...SORRY bout the thread jack!

Only the Autech version, the regular Spec S was 165 just like the kouki S14. Exact same motor.

I foresee a future trend coming in the near future... Importing NA S15's and dropping affordable SR's in. Makes sense though. Why didn't I think of that? Oh yeah, cops love to f with right hand drive cars. Great weapons of choice, Jesusfast. This is an on-point thread.

EXACTLY!! thats what i'm wondering. Me and a few buddies are looking to make this happen in my city and get on w/ a good opportunity.
Now I've heard of the too good to be true and ppl not wanting to try it just because of the cheap prices.
But what if this is actually legit and everyone is just scared to try it so everyone down talks it...

BTW, I see that you're located in the Windy City. I'm in the market for a legitimate SR20DET. I'm on a budget and I need a good connect. Kentucky's access to SR's sucks! Any possible guidance would be greatly appreciated and sorry this was a bit off topic...

I wish I had some sponsors... I'm getting most of it done the best I can..

as far is the sr's go... Your best but is to pick something up used and do a rebuild... There's a few local shops that can get you some good ones if you just want to throw it in.

hahahah I will take some pics tonight if i remember.. I dont have a camera anymore or else i would have posted some up.

Monday-Tuesday of next week my buddy and I, are going hardcore into it and getting it done for a base tune (brake in tune) I'll make sure 100% to get some pics of that stuff up next week.
