S13 moog k9509 ball joint too small for flca?

I just tried to replace my front ball joints and thought moog k9509 ball joints were the oem replacement but they fit much much too loose. I can literally rattle them around inside the control arm. Anyone else have this problem? Do I have a wrong ball joint or is the lca not oem?

you probably have aftermarker LCA's to begin with.
The K9509 should fit completely snug on OEM S13 lower control arms. that, or you got the wrong part.

Yeah I'm pretty sure its an aftermarket lca. I doubt they sent me 2 incorrect ball joints boxed in k9509 boxes. I'm gonna measure them tomorrow at work to make sure but I'll probably just end up buying new lcas with ball joints already installed.

Does anyone have any suggestions for lcas that come with bushings and ball joints already? I saw some on frsport for like $110, anyone else have the same ones?

you might as well go with another set of aftermarket ones, they are pretty cheap and come with everything.

I'd stick with oem and just replace the balljoints. Oem stuff is pretty durable vs some wing Wang stuff

Yeah why spend $60 on ball joints when you can spend $75 and get the two complete MOOG LCAs ?
