Speedo not working due to tranny swap help please

So I just purchased my first 240. It's a 97 s14 with a ka24de-t and a swapped c009 350z tranny and because of the swap my Speedo won't work. How do I fix it?

If you ran an S15 diff you could get a speed reading off that

I have a autometer GPS. Haven't installed it yet. But could be a solution.

I forget which company (maybe Dakota digital) but there was a unit that had you install something on your driveshaft and it measured that to give you a speedometer signal.

A google search showed spectec engineering has some sensors.

Honestly I would call the driveshaft shop, they could recommend you to someone. Im sure there's a way you can get a simple digital signal setup. I didn't know about the cd trans not having a vss in them.

The speedo sensors are in the rear diff on the 350Z, similar to the S15 setup. The ABS signal is used for the speedo in the Z33 (2 sensors) and the S15 (1 sensor). You need an ABS diff from an S14/S15, or J30 or I think Z32. These have an ABS sensor in the front of the diff, the Dakota digital box can then be used to "convert" the ABS signal into the speedo signal.

The GPS sensor is probably a good option if you can't find an ABS diff, but I'd be worried how reliable it is (signal dropping due to trees, tunnels, etc).
