Yup besides being hard to tune, blowing up all the time, sounding annoying, having no torque, and crappy gas milage, rotaries are awsome.

Oye...The engine is too young, there hasent been enough R&D with the engine, nto enough technological advancement. The psiton engine has been around a coupel decades more than the rotary. for 1.3L engine its pretty inceardible as to what can og numbers you can get out of it. Yes I agree that they overheat quite often. And that the most you can do to achieve mor epower is up the boost and then port with more fuel. Simplicity will onyl get you so far I knwo but you know I'm a rotary head what can I do., I've been inlove with the car and concept ever since I learned baout it as wee bit kid.

Hahaha, only if poorly tuned just liek any engine out there. Your just hater arent you? haha, its okay I'm not gunna defend it much cuz I have my own qualms with it. I was also thinking about why they don't make much torque either and I think it has soemthing to do with how little the actual rotar moves around in the housing on the accentric shaft. I'm not a mechnical engineer but it seems like it would be something in that area.

Na its cool. I dont mind rotors for road racing.
I do however think that rotors are only good for slowing the car down when mated with a brake caliper.

Obviously you didn't read the post, or maybe I didn't write it. My family owns a shop been in the buisness 15 years, I've been in that shop since I was like 7. I did the entire car my self ground up, motor, suspension, chasis, body work paint, everything on that car was done with my own two hands. Of course I had the occasional extra hand or two from my friends when I had to take things like the tranny out. But other than that the entie car was done withmy own two hands.
