Even tho chas wouldn't know a good driving event from a good circle jerk, it is a fun fucking event.

Do go, do register your spectators and guests, do have them ride along with you.

WOW I feel so shafted

Saturday October 15th 2005

Complaints from the Chargers organization caused Qualcomm stadium management to ask that we only conduct Drift circuit events during the chargers off season starting mid Feburary.

Despite the fact that we could not renew the permit for October, we were aware that the qualcomm stadium's days are numbered to we have been searching for a new venue for quite some time.

We have been in negotiations with Coors Amphitheatre in hopes that it is the new home of Drift Circuit. Unfortunately we do not have time to finish negotiations and obtain a permit before our previously scheduled date for Drift Circuit 2 on October 23rd.

The entire Drift Circuit staff will be attending SEMA during the first week of November in booth # 11542, and our first priority upon getting back from the show will be to obtain a permit for Coors Amphitheatre when we return.

Pre paid participants can get a refund or carry over their paid status to the November event.

I fuckin knew it.. this is why I didnt pre pay. Apparently, Coors wants them to re-paint the parking lot after events. Which, as we all know, isnt going to happen. So, they are going to knock heads some more, and who knows how long this will take!? Damn Chargers!! Good thing I didnt blow any cash getting ready for this one..
Personally i think the sports arena would be way better for an event.
And on a side note, have they ever thought about teaming up with racelegal? That might help persuade some otherwise hard to convince execs that they're legit.
