That is the proper place to ask. This did not need a new thread.

It's up to you.
I know you have a cream colored two tone coupe that is (was?) in good shape. I have no idea who's s14 you're talking about. Post some pics.

if you have a two tone coupe why get an s14??? the two tone is more rare and from what i can read (not see due to the fact you didnt give us pictures) your car is better... why ask a question like this with no pictures.. its like putting a pizza in front of me to smell and asking me how it tastes.. O.o

maybe I'm crazy but as an s14 sunroof owner I can tell something is off with that roof. maybe it needs a repaint, maybe its completely fucked. I would not trade. also 2-tone s13 are hot keep that shit.

that sunroof destroys roominess. A few other members measured theirs and I measured mine and headroom drops by just over 2 inches. I am not tall at 5'9" but I have hit my head on the roof over speed bumps if I'm sitting upright in the "proper" position. Also if its leaking its almost guaranteed its the fiberglass lip around the glass and if that's it you have to replace the whole damn glass unit and Nissan themselves have told me the part no longer exists for them to get.
As a bit of an anecdote as soon as my Navan parts come in my car is going in for bodywork, on that list is deleting the sunroof. It is that much of a problem, and I will fully admit that I like cruising with the sunroof open, but on the S14 it is just not worth the inevitable problems. This is also ignoring the sometimes rusty drainage system that Nissan "engineered" into the car. on the subject of S14's vs 13's I'll say this. I don't think anyone denies the S14 being the "nicer" car but honestly man, these things are old and the newest possible S14 is still going to be 15 years old. maybe I'm different than others but the difference in my mind between the S13 and S14's are mostly whether you like one body style more than the other or cant find one type in decent enough condition to warrant buying. why would you want to trade anyways? those old 2-tone coups are rare. you can mod it to be gorgeous or just find someone on here to trade with, I'm sure they will get you a better deal than a car with 100k more miles than yours. also I would be very suspicious of that guys story, he wants to trade cars so his parents can drive it? then who the hell taught him to drive? technically my parents bought my S14 when I was in high school and I still get kind of irked when they drive it, as far as I am concerned that car is mine now after all the work I've put into it (and several thousand dollars of my money) and why can't he just buy an old Auto trans from someone, several years ago people near me were literally giving them away for free to whoever would come and pick them up. so I would avoid that guy, seems fishy. but then again maybe I've just been burned one too many times, I do tend to not trust people, but then again people, especially in the car hobby, can be real thunder cunts sometimes. other times they are the greatest people ever, just depends on which this guy is. editing, stick around in this thread and I'll post up some pics of what my sunroof currently looks like with the rust, It might well change your mind. Keep the two tone, you would be stupid to trade. That creamy color is very rare even for the two tones, you are one of 686(or so) in the US, provided its OEM and not turned into a two tone.

That 040f01 is a part number for that metal placard. Check your underhood placard for #5G8 under color code to check if that is a real creamy yellow two tone.

Keep the Coupe. You'd be so stupid to trade a Creamy Yellow Two Tone for an S14 as shitty as that one. Two tones are getting stupid rare, just put the 5 speed in the Two tone and thank me later.
