I don't really understand how these will help if you have to thread the outer on more... Care to explain? I'm looking for easy angle, but I wanna understand how it works first.

Am I missing something here?
I just installed these today and re-centered my steering rack and adjusted my tie rods all the way but I still have toe in. I even adjusted the drivers side to have toe out all the way and just re-center it that way but I still had toe in =\ I also tried just installing these without the gold spacers but it still the same. |

I'm only running one on the passenger side. I messed with it all day yesterday and today and still haven't figured out why it gives me so much toe in on the passenger side with maxed out tie rods.

Hmm, I'm running one on the passenger side without the washer, and one powered by max washer on the drivers side. My tie rods are as short as possible and the toe is straight.

To center your rack: 1. Turn your steering wheel lock to lock and measure turns (e.g 3) 2. Divide by 2 and turn the steering wheel that amount of turns (e.g 1.5) 3. Align the wheels now so that they point straight 4(optional). If your steering wheel does not point straight then unbolt and reinstall it facing straight You are done!! |

If you are using for instance s14 tie rods on a 13 then it might be too long. Let me know what your set up consist of !

I'm guessing since the tein tie rods are designed with a built in tie rod spacer, it would essentially be like running a rack spacer on both sides on stock tie rods, which in combination with the Steering Angle Adapter the tie rods will be too long. I'm running one 7mm tie rod spacer on the drivers side, Steering Angle Adapter on the passenger side, stock tie rods adjusted full short, straight toe.

Just to make sure, the adapter and spacer go on the same side?
And is that Left side or right side. Thought i would clarify since Passenger side could vary from U.S. to JDM. Im currently having problems with mine. I put spacer on left and adpater onright. But steering keeps pulling left after alignment and wheel rotation. |

Here's the exact situation.
I put 7mm spacer on left driverside and 12mm adapter on right passenger. Recentered the rack and aligned the car. Also checked tire pressure. Car drives straight until i let go of the wheel. As soon as i let go, the wheel drops 1/4 to the left and pulls left. Also when i pull into a parking spot with the wheel straight, as soon as i let go, the wheel drops left 1/4 turn. Where in the process might I be screwing it up? P.S. replaced steering rack and it still pulls left Last edited by artica; 11-07-2012 at 02:48 PM.. Reason: additional info |

not 100% sure about this one, but it sounds like alignment to me. everything worked fine before you put the spacers in?

After re checking underneath the car and re examining the wheel width. It appears that my driver side is sticking out further due to an out of wack crossmember. Im going to see if i can readjust it and remeasure my adjustable flca's.
Maybe the driver side having more wheel width might cause a pull to that side. Any input? |
