So the previous owner installed a MBC but I don't think this thing is hooked up properly. It's got one line coming from this box looking thing mounted to the drivers inner fender in the engine bay, and the other is going into the actuator.

I come from a turbo MR2, but I got a really good deal on this and I'm trying to get it running right. If memory works correctly shouldn't the inlet line going into the MBC be coming from a vacuum source and the outlet line be going to the actuator? I have no idea what this box is but it's factory so I'm guessing it's something. Is there anyway to disconnect it?
