What are you talking about? No City is a utopia, society itself is a struggle. The U.S. was doomed when we became a two party system, and allowed greed to manifest itself in our politics. Capitalism is great when your the one profiting, and Socialism leads to coddling. How about we take a look at other Countries who have less poverty, less crime, better schools, and offer it citizens a comprehensive medical benefits. Then lets continue this conversation.

Actually, all the Nordic countries kick are an ass in every category. Their diversity's not on par with the U.S. Singapore is up there in all categories and they are a diverse country. The Nordic countries have oil, and they lead the world in green technology. Electric cars, hydrogen cars, and mass transit. What gives these countries an edge over the U.S.? How do we compete and spread prosperity in this country? Does it start with our elected officials, or does it start from the bottom and works it's way up?

First how about comparing "gun death" to number of guns, since we have something like 500 million guns in this country. They also always rope in suicide, accident and self defense to bolster those numbers. Other countries do not.

You are conflating entirely two different scenarios.

No one here has denied the number of folks Obama has deported and spool, corbic and yourself constantly quote this stat as a comparison to raids. I even posted a fact sheet from DHS and acknowledge it (which spool promptly ignored and reposted the same stat from DHS......but whatever)

What Obama did was not targeted is the keen difference.
Obama never targeted children and separated them from their parents for example. Detention centers were setup for children who crossed the border unaccompanied

Why do you always seem to gloss over this one keen piece of info when trying to make the comparison?

And of the 600+ people detained, close to 400 were legal. So ice went in and detained LEGAL immigrants as well.

But fuck all this. These folks, regardless of illegal status was HIRED by a company. Why is there no outrage for the companies actively undermining our own citizens by seeking out cheap labor? Isn't that the reason for the outrage?? Illegals are taking our jobs, etc etc?? Folks are quick to negate this very demographic..
