The alternator on my SR swap has a 4-rib pulley when it's supposed to be 5 so I'm guessing the previous owner used his old DOHC alternator and neglected to change the pulley? It works I guess but it squeals like a bitch all the time...
The belt looks like it's new still and the tension's set correctly. Could the fact that it's the wrong belt/pulley be the cause of the squealing? Anyone know the part # for the SR alternator pulley? |

I have two questions:
#1-Is an S14 ('95) already wired for fog lights even if your car doesnt have any? #2-Is an S14 ('95) already wired for a power antenna evin if your car doesnt have one? It looks like the plugs are already there for the fogs. You would just untape the plugs off the harness, plug your fogs in and replace the switch on the column with one with fog light controls on it. Anyone? The antenna thing im really unsure about. But i have a plug back there im unsure about. Was hopeing to run a power antenna on my car. Thanks for any help!! |

yes, you can use REAR Z-32 N/A rear hubs for 5 lug. For the front u can just get s14 5 lug. Buy them new at the dealer...IIRC they arent that expensive.

more info is at 240sxtech.com look for 5spd maual swap if you're still unsure you can hopefully get one of the engineering tools from someone which i can't remember the name of but you can use it to check the dimensions (the one that looks like it has beaks) and just use a sharpee to pin point everything G.L.

I rewired my zenki s14 for kouki headlights and now my headlights works fine but i don't know why but after that none of my other lights work(taillights, corners, etc).
I think its a fuse but haven't check bc the previous owner relocated the fuse box and haven't found it yet but anybody know why this happen? |

IIRC im pretty sure a 1 3/4 inch hole saw will work out. you need a right angle drill, or a small size air drill cause the space you have to work is pretty tight.

Don't know the actual pitch, but S13 and S14 are the same. When I put an S13 SR in my S14 I reused the S14 temp sensor. Screwed right in.

I was able to do it on an S14 without any special drill. Just a hole saw. Took 2 minutes. I forget the size, you don't have to get it right on, you can make the hole slightly larger than the clutch master.

I don't know if I can so so I will just put it here. It could be simple as a fuse, first thing to do is to check the fuses. If it is not popped, then check the wiring that leads to the cig lighter.

If there is no panel in the car telling you which fuses are what, then your next option is to consult the Factory Service Manual
