These don't require modification, but your existing trim piece would. I gave one to a friend to work with and he made it work just by sanding/cutting down the inside of the trim piece to accommodate the light piece.

I dont have any other color led's available. however they can be bought at superbrightleds.com for example.

Roger, make sure to get the plug with a harness for these. Makes it easier for folks to splice into.

$8 doesn't seem to bad considering these used to sell for crazy money just awhile ago. I remember folks buying them for $30+ easy.

as he stated earlier these only come in green. you can purchase a different color bulb from any led website. the bulb number is 158/74. also the shipped price is anywhere in the 48 states. WA included.

when i paid for mine he also sent me the instructions on how to wire them through a pm.

Thanks for clearing things up for me. Yes they only come in green right now but I know where you can buy different led colors through a website.
