95' 240sx Power window problem.

Last night i rolled down my drivers side window now it wont roll up. I did my research and the most common is the power window amp, which sometimes will have a bad connection so i checked that and it's fine. So i checked the 25a fuse under the hood and replaced it anyways and that wasnt the problem. So i checked online again and it said to test the motor by connecting 9 volt battery to it and i dont know how??

Im going to thursday night 240sx meet at louise and saticoy, for those who come please lemme know i really appreciate it.

look for s14 kouki with white bodykit and black housed headlights thats me

There is no relay.

Hook a battery up to the motor, one side of the battery on each lead. If it tries to roll down, reverse it, it will then roll up. The motor is not the problem. If nothing happens, the motor is dead.

We've discussed window diagnostics for over a decade, is it really that hard to get your head out of your ass and search?

It might just be the switch, mine is messed up but if I play with it a little it will work, I only have the problem going up not down.

hmm it may jus be the switch but not sure, means ill need another s14 switch to test it out, cause i took apart my amp and there was no broken connections at all, so ill give the switch thing a whirl and update everyone

Take the window amp apart and re-soder the contacts on the board that run to the plug. That is where they fail.
