Awds13
been posting this hog on ziptied, time to give a taste everywhere else. this is my nopi 08 competition car. ls1 s13 onevia with sexy style version 2 and ls1. i'll continue from its current state a few weeks back...
"ummm, why do these things take for fucking ever. feel like zero progress has been made on car but work on it all the goddamn time had gas tank acid dipped, installed new fuel pump and all new o-rings/lines/whatever then truck bed lined that shit spl arms worked out perfect, clear coils awesome can go low now recaro spg's got here but no rails yet, damn justin haha got gauge cluster template cut but no rice meters installed so thats just flat out pointless made mount extension for e-brake cables (they were 300zx why didn't they jsut bolt right on? fuck.) installed solid subframe bushings got fuel lines all an setup made final pulley mounts and alternator cut on motor plate mounts, this coming weekend will have actual motor inside and mounted up finally yay oh, cool stuff got radiator sprayer all mounted up with oil cooler as well, no more ghetto getting out of car and spraying radiator down yay sweet clearance!! has anybody else had to do this? seems retarded i thought they were supposed to bolt right up slick rick, getting jazzed! but its so wierd seeing a car without fmic haha getting so close, might hear motor sounds by end of this month!! " " " "completed motor mounts finally! had to cut massive hole for alternator and still working on belt routing to get a little more contact on crank pulley add some rice bits and.... all the pulley setup in a much more simple version those 4 -12 AN fittings are for water pump, 2 go to upper manifold on the radiator, 2 go to meziere water pump located in front of passenger wheel well" "beginning of weekend work didn't get other gauges in time, defi tach and kill switch are on though, fresh to death new seat/harness/wheel/whatever combo, super cheap and legit you know whats coming. an hose mania! never gonna stop baby only 1/2 way there don't ever stop in front of my car, ever. ever. spikes. stabstabstab if you can see your bash bar through the bumper hole, you did something wrong. rear bar is equally intense, not fucking moving. good luck if you hit my car at all, anywhere. gonna reinforce the front bar more with down diagnol pipes and shit but this is its location." "ok so, round 2 gotta work on car more! literally just piddling with small stuff until we have a few hours to get actual motor in for its final time. then it gets serious! in the mean time tried to do some work today accusump mounted gangster lean lol perfect positioning for the rear bar! accepting ideas for stickers to go on bar after i paint it some that are already out there -dimple-die cheeseburger '08 -? dash installed, switch panel in, tach and switch panel still installed my dad going CRAZY with regular aluminum angle those mounts mean serious business! so that was about mid-day or whatever and we kinda ran outta things to do on s13 for today, so we get the skyline running! new battery and such, had plans to do other stuff but hard to work when these are flying over your head... fuck cars, brb gonna go build flying fortress replica " "while i drove this weekend my dad laid down some kickass work on the 13! ice water tank wrapped so it can't sweat and in-line water pump installed halon fire system setup, so far only engine nozzles are bulk-headed but interior soon after seat rails get here oh, i guess there's some more AN fittings or something can't forget this little guy new belt fits and everythings good, motor in this weekend for tranny mount creation. pull it back out, rod bolts, katech oil pump, small valvetrain stuff, reinstall for good. then its typical plumbing/wiring. realistically this car is not far from done at all, getting so damn excited " oh yeah EXTERIOR PICSS!!!! GET READY NOPI!!! stewartleask.com stewartleask.com stewartleask.com stewartleask.com

shits dope.
i remember seeing a pic where the rear wheel wells were cut so far up, there was like like 7 inches of clearance from the rocker panel and the ground. the coupe is turning out great. keep it up! |

you build incredible cars man. Great job on everything.
The front bumper doesnt work though, something about it doesnt look right. Meh small details to be bitching about because the rest of the car is gorgeous
