SR S13 fuel pump not coming on

Ok ive had this problem ever since I put my sr in, I have a walbro 255 pump, its installed correctly and works when i turn the key to on it doesnt come on, I know the pump works cause I t'd another wire onto it before and it came on and pumped fuel but wouldnt stop. I need some help here it's the only thing left. oh yea also the fuse is fine every other thing everything works electrical on the car lights wipers car cranks over everything except the pump

oh and yes i searched for about and hour and a half before I posted this


oh yea its a 89 hatch with s13 sr

Do you have the fuel pump relay wire hooked up? If not....solder the black/pink runner wire on the SR harness to the black/pink runner on the 240sx wire thats already installed in your car. That wire is a relay so it only runs for 3 seconds when power is switched on then when the ECU asks for it'll punp fuel. The 3 seconds at first is to prime the fuel lines.

Someone please varify....I am pretty sure its the black/ pink wire.

Oh yeah..in case your wondering the wires are located between the battery and the chassis.

yea they are hooked up. so what to check next, the fuse is good too. that wire must not be getting power, the only time ive got the pump to turn on is when I t'd a 12 volt inigtion wire onto the black/pink

where is the stock fuel pump relay on the S13?

old thread revied... ....the fuel pump relay is in the fuse box on the passanger side of the engine bay.

I hate to be a bother...but whats the label on it?? I found the fuse for the fuel pump but the only relay i can find which is close says "egi pump"

Plugs by Battery may be wired incorrectly, they plug in but won't work without rewiring. Pump should run for 3 seconds then stop if flywheel not moving.
