Haha, urethane bushings, sway bars, a shock/spring combo, and some 215 Azenis and your suddenly the fastest car on the street?

Most these cars have those suspension mods at a minimum, make more power, are rwd, have a better turning radius, are running AT LEAST 215's, and arent top heavy. You would get smacked my friend, you arent talking to the average civic owner on cut springs who pulls the e-brake around turns while claiming hes the next Vaughn Gitten.

And when it comes down to it, your still racing a lunch box at 40mph... yah, its fast for a lunchbox, but that sure as hell doesnt make it cool.

they are slicks, the cars suspension geometry is designed for differnt setting per compound with 100,000-2,000,000 worth of development into when to use said tires on said rims

on a chasis that light, compact and center of gravity so tight , depending on road surface to make up for Tire that has a softer sidewall a race team might "stretch" in a pinch.

are you spending all day every day sourcing up photos of actual race cars that have stretched tires?

You wear a fucking harness in a car with no roll bar too, which means when, and not IF, but WHEN, you roll your piece of crap car your girlfriend bought you, then the roof will enclose on your skull, and crush your spine (God can ONLY hope.) because you do not have any side to side leeway in a harness, that's why they're ONLY MADE TO BE USED WITH A ROLL BAR.

Take a good minute and remember the LED taillamps, since this is the only part of the car you will ever see.

The point here isnt to act macho or put someone else down for having another (lesser) car, but you've got to understand a few things first.

For one, you need to understand what a Scion XB is, and what it will always be. If you think a few modifications will make that bucket special, you're wrong. Maybe you're a good driver and have good car control, thats fine - we're all very proud of you. But do us all a favor, dont come on Zilvia talking about how great your XB is. Most of us are pretty technical and know shit from swiss cheese.

Funny, believe it or not.. I've made lights for the last XB and I just finished lights for the current XB, and I absolutely refuse to list them on the site. I fucking hate that car, and I am thinking of axe-ing the entire Scion brand from the site because the cars lack one thing - class.

Nothing is wrong with Axxis pads, I've ran them for years. The metallics are great, the ultimates are OK - but I still prefer the metal masters. The fanboys on Zilvia are hating because they'de rather promote obscure "Japanese-made" parts like ENDLESS.

I ran some Hawk HPS pads this time around and they're good. A bit better than the Axxis Metallics, but still.. nothing too different. I like the Hawk pads more, but Axxis makes very good pads too. Reasonably priced as well.

The main difference isnt between the wheel size and/or springs vs coilovers, its with the FUCKING car itself.

On my S13, I ran Tokico shocks and springs for YEARS before going with $2000 dollar coilovers. Big fucking deal. The coilovers are better, but they're not INSANELY better. There's a point of diminishing returns. Just because a suspension is more expensive, doesnt always mean that its a world of a difference. Whats more important is the car, the overal setup, and the tuning. An expensive coilover setup is useless if its not setup with proper alignment, stiffness, height. Most of the people that run coilovers dont even adjust them properly. Too many settings, not enough knowledge.

For the wheels, does it matter if they're 16x7 or 16x9? Who cares? What matters is what tire he has and what compound he runs.

But that still doesnt change the fact that its a POS XB.
