jic magic coilovers

So i'm currently riding on a set of JIC Magic coilovers on my s13 and i want to lower the back a bit. The problem is that i can't because it just wont. after spinning it a half a turn, it just stops. the collars aren't even close to touching and it seems like i should be able to keep going. any suggestions? can i do anything to the lower mount to give me more room?

thanks in advance.

haha, I'm in the same boat as you. JIC coils just weren't designed to go that low. If you want to go low, you need PBM or Stance coils.

If you're truly max'n them out, sell them, and pay more for coils that don't perform as well, but go lower.

Clean the threads out first, because it might just be "stuck" on something inside the mount.

JIC coils are really weird in that the shock body is really long, and it maxes out really easily. That's why they can't go that low, but they are great performing coils.

I too, have a set of JICs and have maxed the lowering adjustment. The only option you have left now is to lower by drooping the spring.

no you're not going to get godspeeds... seriously, if you want to blow your coils after a weeks go for it

240ss, what is your budget because PBM coils are awesome, you'll be riding on the rails before you hit the bottom of those and they're really beefy. They cost a grand

just my
