My stretch is nothing crazy, just what I like, I've had a 215/45/17 on a 17x10.5 and the bead came on seated while sliding, since then I'm a little more conservative.

See I always though that its ok to run 35-45 PSI but then kinda learned (from this thread) that you need alot more PSI to hold the the tire on the bead. I just want to be safe-er. haha Really? thats it? |

^ I run 40 daily, and just get tires that stretch well rather than all that BS shit to get them to seat, mine arent a crazy stretch no, but they are Ziex ZE512's and took 1 time with a Cheetah on both wheels to get the beads to seat.

I have the same size tire as you and my wheels are 10.5 wide.. so even bigger, those tires should stretch a bit on ther without the slightest effort, should be easy like ......you get the point.. and yea i run 36psi on my rears.. if you want run 40 to feel safer but now you know its no mystery..no crazy prepping work..just have the dudes mount the tires like they would any other..center the tire on the rim.... let go and hit the air..it will pop on there by itself..

Stretches looking good guys.
I have a question for anybody that has run these sizes. I wanna get some 17x10 all around with 215/45. Will the under steer be bad or will it still be controllable. |

tommy runs 245/40s. i think he changed to 255/35s though. sounds better, more grip/smaller sidewall. still a pretty aggressive stretch |

Stupid question...
Has anyone run a 215/35/18 Hankook RS2 on a 18x9.5" wheel? I like the tires a lot, but I'm not sure how they'll stretch on a 9.5. Do they run wide in that size? Is the sidewall too stiff to get a good stretch?
