first is where the hell did the money go? lets put it into some numbers...

car- 6500
exhaust- 600
headers- 350
intake- 180
coilovers- 700 (is GAB good? if they are add 400)
anti-roll bar- 150
brakes- about 2500 (i know they are expensive)
rims- 1500 (at the most)
tires- 700
paint- 2450
body kit- 1200
system- 2500 (plus labor...looks nice but money saved due to JL...good comp but the prices are cheap)
seats- 650 (cobra...common)
interior paint- maybe 100
pedals- 35
steering wheel- 300 (its momo...but still not worth it)
engine ricing- 400 (cuz he didnt do it himself)
wing- 200 (didnt i see that on ebay?)
anything else- maybe 1000

so the total = 22015

ok i know a little up there but still not 30+. and now where the hell is the SR? and why go with a V-6 when the skyline is better? good god help this nissan sap. anyways with 22g. my SR would be in with about 350 at wheels. and body removed of dents. total on that about 10g. so my car would look just as nice and kick his ass with about 12g in the bank. someone bent him backwards.

well, the guy has probably never turned a wrench in his life, i'd figure about 10000 in for labor, half of that on the paint job probably.

Ug three pages on this? Here is my take. Must have been a slow month SCC, or the owner used a few of those 30G's to persuade an editor. If you buy SCC for hardcore tech info your looking in the wrong spot. I have always considered that mag the best of the rice rags. Good toilet reading but good for little little else. Who cares? Move along, nothing to see here folks

i hate that.. i saw my new scc, and i read on the front cover "bad 240sx" then as soon as i saw it i had to puke immediately. ewwwww!.... i liked the yellow civic hatch better than that 240... sorry to say.
i still love scc, but i am hating the 240/silvia attention lately.. especially with the 240 ricers.

Well this sucks. As much as we hate it, it was bound to happen. You cant keep a good car down. Its just sad that ricers gotta jump on the bandwagon when ever they see an abundance of articles such as this. Dont think the altezzas for our cars are for off.

you really want YOUR cars in the same pages of those pieces of crap?
come on, don't stoop to their level. Keep your clean, or find good magazines to feature them in... on yea, there aren't any, that's why we're having this discussion. um... someone call Peterson Publishing, maybe they'll start a magazine on par with Hot Rod or something... You don't find Rice in Hot Rod... maybe potatos, but no rice
