Is that first picture the actual adapter for z33 to sr? I have an adapter plate for 350z tranny to my sr20 but the holes look a little different compared to your first picture?

Hey quick question. Lets say for instance the adapter plate was not used in between the transmission & motor and it bolted directly, would i still need to machine the bell housing or will that be enough to have the clutch engage? if it is not enough how much would i have to machine 1/4"?

Hey mate, how are you? I was hoping you might be able to shed some light on my situation as you are the only person I have found with a question even remotely close to mine. . . I have put an R34 Skyline diff in my S15 and have now lost abs and speedo because the sensors are different, s15 on the pinion and r34 on the stub axles. Do you know what I need to get my abs/speedo back?

hey man to help you out, as im expecting you removed the Hecial S15 diff so a R34 LSD. i would recommend pulling the Head and axle stubs from the R200 R34 diff and putting them in place of the helical centre from the S15. retaining the Crown and pinion wheels of the S15 and the diff casing and ABS and speedo sensors.

im going to suspect guys the KA plate is going to be a bit more difficult to design that the SR, with regards to the starter motor and bell housing clearances.

Lighten up bro, not that serious.
Anyway im looking at both bell-housings right now. not much difference in the geometry. Looks like the KA starter might cause some clearance issues though. It has that half bell over the teeth. |

We got the KA adapter going and the starter stub hits the bellhousing. We can sell the plates but the buyer would have to understand that you'd need to do some modification to the bellhousing to get the starter to fit. We've tried different starters and it's just too close. The mod to the bellhousing will still allow it to clear both KA and SR adapters.
