streets are pretty good and tracks ull give u a back acke but for the quality and cash power shop max coils are amazing

POWERED BY MAX

Dampening is incredible along with the factory 10/8k springs.

Ride is pretty do-able at lowest dampening setting with the 10/8k springs.

Ride is super stiff at full hard dampening setting...you could feel the grooves in the road. THAT INTENSE.

I've got mine set 2 clicks hard in front and rear. Drifts awesome and handles great.

Only ran about a $1,000.

Even you have the best coilover but still if your driving level cannot match up with the coilover then is the waste.

I recommand start up with PBM/D-Max then go up to Apex N1 or if you have more money to spend then go with DG5. DG5 FTW....

Best, is subjective.
DG5s, however, are a lot cheaper than I thought they were.

Pretty much most of the car in D1 are using DG5.... Thoese are on top of the BEST...

Just dialed in my Tein Super Drift and its pretty good. Ride quality isn't too bad on full soft and you easily feel the difference as you increase it. Not to mention you can go stupidly low, which is kinda odd for tein...

But it sounds like you need to figure your driving style as mentioned above. DG5, PBM, Stance, D-Max all are good but are you gonna really use them to the potential they were made for? If this is your first set I'd rock some PBM. I'm running some Tanabe Sustec Pro 2's and they suit me fine on and of track.

I've got the Super Drifts as well and I love them.. Have had them for about 2 years and I DD my S14. Sorta expensive, but with EDFC compatibility, decent ride quality, and the ability to go lower than I'd want to.. it's a good all around coilover.

I hear GodSpeed makes some really good coilovers. ISIS also makes good ones.

Only thing about those are that they're hella expensive.

The funny thing about Zilvia is they always have a unofficially a "coilover of the month."

Every time a new one comes out from a various company then suddenly the old one that everyone had their nuts on is old and obsolete. (works the same way with any other fad that they follow on here.)

One month it's JIC, then Tein, then Kei Office, then Stance, then silk road then to DG5a and so forth. So depending what month you ask answer will always be different.

Thus the reason people are always praising something new or different, Stance D-Max PBM Fortune Auto. These 4 companies are some of the best at relatively affordable prices do some research find the brand and type of coilover that suits you best and make your purchase.
