There's tons of info. You're not trying hard enough.

The easiest visual clue is the valve cover. S13 has three bolts down the middle, S14 has two. There's a dozen more. Search.

Please don't post when you don't know. Both cars use an electric fan. However, since the guy was asking about differences in the engine, chassis related parts have no bearing on his question anyway.

Cams are different, CAS, gear ratios, clutch pedal -yes chassis I know, valve cover, IM, intake, Exhaust manifold (s14 has the cat in the downpipe, and a resonator in place where the S13 cat is)

Indeed. So is the CAS, as the KA doesn't use a CAS, it uses a distributor. Cams are a change, but they're not visual.

So to kill this thread before even more stupid shit comes up:

valve cover
CTS
TPS
distributor
intake manifold
exhaust manifold

These are visual clues on the engine. That's what the kid asked for, quit with the parts that aren't even related. Sure you could say the seats are different too but that's pointless.

another thing between the difference of those KA's:

the s13 have an extra spark plug wire from the coil to the distributor...

correct me if i am wrong...

EDIT: the s14 use a coil/distributor (2 in 1) or something like that so the s14 KA have only 4 spark plug wires and the s13 KA have 5 spark plug wires, also, the s13 have OBD1, 1995's s14's have OBD1 and 1996's to up have OBD2 ..

That's why it's said the distributor is different.

To clear up your garble, The S13 KA uses an external ignition coil. S14 KA is internal.

Crank position sensor on the bellhousing? My s13 trans didnt have one, my S14 did. Yes its not needed, but none the less

I couldve sworn pulling both gear assemblies out of the bellhousings the 2nd gear on the s13 is shorter if I recall.

Fuck mang, you're killing us all. The OP asked about visual differences between engines. We could list every possible difference about every single part, true, but they're not answering the guy's question.

If you asked me a question that you really needed answered, and I provided an incorrect answer, an answer not even remotely related to your question, wouldn't that bother you?

Case in point, this entire thread.

If it takes belittling someone or making them feel like shit for posting incorrect, useless, or unrelated information, so be it. Maybe they'll learn from it and stay on point next time.
