What rail for a Sparco Evo 2 Plus in an S14

Hey,

I've had a good search through loads of threads and can't find my answer.

Wondered if anybody could tell me what low side mount rail I could buy for a Sparco Evo 2 Plus seat which would bolt straight into an S14 without modification if there are any.

It seems as this seat is wider than most, there aren't any rails it will go straight onto without having to modify it.

Alternatively, if you are running these seats, or have done before.. how did you mount them, whats my best option?

Thanks

Custom bracket bolted to the floor. No sliders or anything.

That's how I ran my Evo 2 and Evo 2 Plus.

Thanks man

However I do specifically want a rail so it will go backwards and forwards. I'm trying to avoid buying a rail and cutting it up. If there is one which will fit this seat thats what i'm after knowing.

If it comes to it, ill buy the most suitable rail and get the welder out

You'll have to buy Bride/NAMS rail and modify it to work. The evo 2 is too wide to fit on those rails and bolt into the car without modification.

Thats what I feared. So I take it there aren't any rails whatsoever that will accomodate this seat?

Just out of interest, it may be a bad question.

Out of those two rails you mentioned, which one would be the easiest to modify or are they basically the same?

No, no bolt-on solution.

They're essentially the same. I haven't modified a rail to fit, just had a buddy help me build one from scratch.
