Every track that had Anderson Paak in it. Ive been a fan of that artist for years now, he also goes by Breezy lovejoy.
Dr Dre put alot of small artists on in this album and gave them major exposure. Wont be surprised if they all start taking off after this like what Kanye did for Vic Mensa.

Honestly Dr Dre played out his hype.
I don't give a shit about anything he touches anymore because he took too long. Forgot about his irrelevant ass. On another note, fuck Vic Mensa. I tried peeping him when they gave him Freshman honors and the first lines I ever heard out of his mouth was supposed to be a freestyle and the entire thing was stolen from a smack dvd with serius jones and murda mook from like 05. you wanna look good for the freshman freestyle? write something. 75% of the dudes write for cyphers nowadays anyways. but don't fucking steal some shit thinking everyone forgot about smack dvd. and yes i understand the difference between stealing verses and sampling out of respect. this was blatant thievery. |

also, iirc, "beats by dre" had not even been an idea when Dre originally put off detox, so it's years of hiatus are not correlated whatsoever. (don't quote me on this.) but yeah, money or not, he's pretty irrelevant for what he could have been. Dre: *drops album People: holy shit this is awesome make more for us to buy Dre: no People: pleeeeeaase we love you we really want it Dre: no People: cmon man really?! we actually like you Dre: no People: alright honestly fuck this guy then who gives a shit Dre: wait no come back i do have songs, please People: Lol, no. |

Compton is dope except for a couple tracks I don't really like (talk about it and for the love of money)
in LA there was "COMPTON" written in the sky https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHFhbylV9nk I love that hes donating royalties of the album to a youths art center in Compton. overall I love the album and I wish magazines and websites would stop fishing for some sort of rap beef between Kendrick and drake lol I bet Detox is still in the works. that KUSH song was too dope for him to not finish this album |

I was jk, this album really sucks!! Don't buy it, it's trash IMO, the best song is the last one, Talking to my Diary. But it will sell, just because it's Dr. Dre, good thing he is donating the money for a good cause.

Sounds like the beginning of gentrification to me .
No hipsters and rich people would want to live in south Los Angeles but they sure as hell would live in SOLA lol |

The Logan Heights and Market St area is getting gentrified big time. Its sad to see but at the same time its a part of evolution.

but if that's evolution, then fuck evolution lol 1300 for a 250 sq ft "studio" with a mini fridge and a hot plate is bull shit that's why I moved to KTOWN/LARCHMONT area. 1000$ for a 1 bedroom is manageable for me. I love my neighborhood, don't get me wrong, but I miss the beach lol misplacing families isn't right. |

Dre. The studio Gangsta. Still one of the best 90's "gangsta rap" songs IMO. Not going to lie I bought Dre's first album....but who didn't. He's kind of like snoop dog. The first album is the only one worth a fuck.
