Driftfest 05 Washington
Hey everyone, hows it going? Driftfest this year was ----ing awesome! I met so many new people, and got to ride in some of the sweetest rides out on the track. Thanks so much Zain for letting me run around the track and get behind closed doors. For those of you who have no idea who I am, I was the kid running around the center of the track. I almost got nailed by a Beamer and S13 while taking some pics.
Zain, I never got to talk to you after you let me out on the track, but I'd sure like to talk to you in the future, I would love to help out in future events as a volunteer. Everyone that I met and got to talk to; I'm always happy to meet new people, and hope to see you at future events. PM me, I dont remember everyones usernames, haha. Below: Nicoli wrecked his rear bumper, hit one of the safety barriers. I was the one that picked up his rear bumper from the center of the track and brought it back to him. Above: Nicoli was kind of out of it, he was working on taking his full exhaust off so that he could get back out on the track (exhaust hooks broke off when he got in the wreck). Above: Nicoli's bad ass guard dog Above: Don't forget this name... Above: Damn you matt, you just had to blink Above: The Russian Above: its Realchaos1! whoa! (eddi) Above: Track Layout Above: I wanted to ride in the Cow86, but he had a passenger the whole time... Above: Understeer King Above: The beamer that came 2 feet away from hitting me... show off was getting as close to the safety barriers as possible... psh, same with his buddy in the red beamer. Above: This was a close call, good thing he didnt understeer into me. |

it was at evergreen speedway in monroe. i had a BLAST, learned alot too. i got about 20 laps in on the track, and about 10 minutes total on the skidpad. grazed the barrier once and took out the barrels in the skidpad about 3 times and the crowd cheered haha.
couple ok pics of me:

yeah, some people said it should be bigger, which it could have been if they eliminated the skid pad. I really think the skid pad was an essential over all to test your cars handling in the different track conditions that were brought up that day. I mean common! It rained, then dried up, rained, dried up, then RAINED, and finally dried up... |

the guys at evergreen speedway said it was a great turn out so many more events will be at this place, hopefully in the next couple of months.
