Ka24de Carbed

Hey,
I cant seem to find one person on this forum who has successfully nailed carbing a ka24de. I used the search feature, and came up with long debates, but no final answer. So far this is what I have, need to make custom manifold for the carb(no prob with my tig welder), now here is what I cant figure out is the ignition system setup. Anyone out there know of a way to remedy this issue? Also please dont takeover this topic with biased opinion, I just would like to try my experiment out of twin turbo carbs.
Thank You

Racegen have you had the opportunity to read Maximum Boost? It might help you in deciding on whether or not twin turbo carbs would be the best way to go. While I don't recall coming across any carbed KA's on the 240 forums there has been successful ITB projects. Best of luck to you regardless!

Thanks

The reason for me wanting to do this setup is because after driving my friends carbed turbo 240z(not sx), it made me go crazy. The sound, response, and power+ I have set of carbs and turbos lying around in my garage.

Someone here on Saipan was using an s13 ka24de (stock internals) with mikuni 44's and 100shot nos on a nissan hardbody truck. He chopped the stock upper intake manifold and had to modify the oil pan but it was really fast as he "spanked" an aps tt 350z (auto) and an mr2 w/upgraded greddy turbo on the street. On the track, the auto 350Z now does 12.4 w/out nos.

It's been done before. Weber sells carbs and ITBS for the KA, it sounds badass.
