So Ive just been plugging away at the car in all my spare time. Really trying to be done the swap by May 5th...there's some euro vs JDM car meet and all my coworkers drive slammed VW's..so I need to show those fuckers whats up haha. Battery relocation Yanked the motor apart in preparation for new seals, gaskets, pulleys, clutch, belts blah blah Now...the real reason anyone even looks twice at this thread...the KRANZE's. Tires came in. Original plan was 225/40/18 on 10.5 and 245/35/19 on 11.5...falken fk452 all round. I knew it was gunna be a risky stretch but I really wanna try and retain stock fenders+pull Went to get them mounted today....and.... ...well... ...no dice. fuck. I was ok with the stretch at first. but later on we noticed it wasnt holding air at all. fronts and rears fully deflated eventually. Luckilly he had some 235/40/18's and 265/30/19's in stock so mounted those up no problem. I'm happy with the look and everything but now it's gunna be just that much harder to fit. And I blew like 800 bucks on the falkens (this is canada keep in mind, by the time tires show up they're like 50 bucks more a pop) Renting a fender roller this week.....I'm gunna do it myself (or at least try to) Any tips on not fucking it up? |

TAKE YOUR TIME. Like little by litte to get a good roll/pull. Not going to lie though, I'd probably just go wide body. (Origin type 2 rears pleaseeeeee)
I'm just worried it's not going to turn out how you want and look like ish cause you can't tuck the rear. Do it right the first time broseph!

I guess its time for an update. Car is still working through the swap but should be ready in the next couple of days. In the last couple weeks I've been busy getting the motor ready and fitting the wheels.
Finally got the flywheel resurfaced So that I could slap the new clutch in Got everything back together with all new gaskets, pumps and seals... As for the wheels, a buddy lent me his PBM fender roller. I spent the next 24 hours buried in my parking garage pulling the SHIT out of the stock metal First fitting So here's what I ended up with. For now, I'm happy that I was able to make the shit fit period, however a few problems arose...firstly, I'm not getting nearly enough front camber and everything is maxed out, secondly...it's looking impossible to tuck rim because of the curvature of the inner fender....so it looks like new coils and overs are gunna be on the horizon. A few more shots... So after that was all sorted it was off to the shop for the swap, and to be reunited with the rest of the assorted SR20 swag. Out with the old... In with the new... So this was how she looked last time I checked on her...We're hoping to fire it up in the next few days...fingers crossed. Thanks for lookin bros |

Kouki's are my favorite 240 hands down .. I'm trying to work my way up to one. So rare here, and people sell auto's for 8k+. Started with a Ka Hatch, traded for an Sr'd Coupe+Silva front. I'd trade my car for a Na Kouki.

Nice build man, Lokks pretty good!
I saw your post about the coilover bolt falling out, I had the same thing happen to me but caught it beofre the coilover could fall... Scary when you here something bang around and then see something go flying out the back of your car. Luckily I found the bolt in perfect shape still, just backed it self out... Oh well lesson learned!!

thanks for the love fellas.
So the swap is done! I've been driving every spare second for like 3 days straight now...only shitty thing is I think the BOV has too soft a spring so im getting leaking issues on the highway. Anyway, I still have lots of plans for the engine/bay, but for now its somewhat tidy... Today was super nice so I washed the car for the first time in like 5 months and busted out the camera drowning hazard Finally....Canada just got way the fuck cooler. Spotted the first JZX100 in BC... Aristos are coming in in september, and it wont be long before R34's and S15's flood the streets |

God a JZX100 was my second choice, I love my friend's JZX90. I believe he's getting a 100 as well...I can't wait till S15's are legal.
Anyways, I love those rims! |

Car is coming along great. When you did your pull, how did you get the pull to taper under the gas door like that? On mine, the pull tapers off before that because I just couldn't get the metal to move.
I can pm you a pic to give you a better understanding if you want. Thanks. |

Alright bros, Its been AGES since I've updated this, but big changes are coming so it's time to get this going again.
So first I'll recap summer/fall 2012. Basically I just drove the shit out of the car every day. It's my daily so she got lots of use this summer. I hit up lots of local meets and started really getting involved with the local scene Drove down to washington for a few shows, met some really chill people. Even made top deck at Stancewars2012 And lots of photoshoots...

This is the beast in question. Still going strong daily and destroying the occasional mountain

BUT...next winter they are scrapping that shit finally so the motor will be made insane when that happens. And thanks for the comments on the paint. Lots of people locally have ripped it off unfortunately, but its all good. When the sun catches it jussst right, it goes apeshit.
