S13 Ka24de fuel rail question

What is needed to bolt up the fuel rail to oem spec? I ordered fuel rail spacers from frsport but before anything else I just wanted to know if that's all I needed. My problem is that the injectors don't sit right on the fuel rail which is causing me to leak gas from an injector and semi sputtering.

Can someone post pics of how your fuel rail is bolted up and all bolts holding them up ? I just need to see if I'm missing a certain bolt of washer

What fuel rail did you go with? What injectors (Brand, length and diameters) were you planning on running? This might give us a bit of an idea as to what might be needed for your specific setup.

It's all stock, they're red top injectors( Jegs) along with stock fuel rail it looks like I'm missing the fuel rail spacers but I put washers and the rail still doesn't sit flush because when I look down the inside it's like the rail is off to the side but when I push down on it it aligns itself plus my injectors don't "snap" in when I push them in

Got new o rings and bushings on every injector and for the intake manifold car still won't start I honestly don't know what would cause my car to not start from just taking out the injectors and putting them back in it makes no sense

Did you mix up the fuel feed and return lines? Sounds like it.

I have the fuel lines in the right spot, and the only thing I've unplugged was just the injector connectors

My knock sensor got wet with gas before I pulled the injectors out ( why I decided to take them out in the first place) but could gas mess up the knock sensor like that? It's brand new I just bought it like 3 months ago and I really don't want to replace that because it's a pain in the ass

Are you sure the injectors are firing? That would be my first thing to check. Injector diode light might help. Not sure if autozone does loaners of that.

Someone want to tell me why spraying carb cleaner in the throttle body fixed it?

Didn't read thread.
Either you are leaking from the o rings
Or
Your injectors are fucked

Take rail off (with lines attached) and set blue paper towel under it
Key-on
1. Do the injectors leak?
-Yes

2. Is it leaking from around the injectors?
Yes = injector o rings are bad or the seat in the rail is messed up

3. Is it leaking from the injector itself?
Yes = injectors are bad (stuck open) get new injectors

4. The injectors aren't leaking
-disconnect the coil from the distributor
-crank the car a few times
-do you have nice even spots on the paper towel?
Yes = ignition issue
No = injector issue

there's a lot that can cause your car not to start. Installing and removing injectors and O rings requires some serious finesse to do properly. It's so easy to trash those finnnicky things, and you need to do it carefully. Do the test KAT-PWR suggested.

Check for vacuum leaks around the rail, it's also REAL easy to bend the rail and if it's bent, the injectors won't seat right like you said. check it against a glass surface and make sure you didn't roast it. A bent rail will give you a hellacious vac leak

also smell your oil, if the injector seals are trashed, you're probably just DUMPING fuel into the cylinders and you'll wash them out

Injectors are spraying normal and there isn't any gas leaking around either injectors originally I took them apart because one injector just had gas pouring around it and it was also just dumping onto the knock sensor I don't think gas would make my knock sensor bad to not be able to start the car but that's literally all that's wrong it was leaking so I swapped all o rings and then proceeded to seat the rail on the new bushings for the intake manifold. This is where I get lost I spray carb cleaner in the throttle body and the car starts and idles normal and drives normal no break ups, bogging or hesitation throttle response is all there so if it was in fact a fuel issue would it not act up and run bad? My ignition coil is brand new about a few months old
