concave wheels?.?

alright...i'll be starting my s14 project soon, and need to figure out my wheels because its driving me nuts....i want a 17x9 to 10 all around with a +10 or 20 offset so it sets nice and flush(can roll fenders or w/e that is needed) i'm going to run megan racing track coilovers all around and it'll set pretty low, but i dont want to spend 1600 on a set of wheels really, if i cant find anything else, thats what i'll end up doing, what do you think???? and what wheels are there out there, these are the few that i was looking at and the price per wheel

enkie rpf1's...17x9.5(can i run all around w/o problems?) 295 a piece in silver

gram light, 57max 17x9 +12 all around, 390 a piece

and then...the 5zigens, not gunna bother w/ pics cuz you all know them, and i dont think a 17x10 all around would fit to have the concave with them

if anyone has other wheels they know of for under 1500 bucks that have a concave, let me know because i have no idea of any other wheels

thanks, btw i searched and couldnt find much

Wheels would be the last thing to pic imo.

Plus, they may look nice in pics, but once installed it could look ugly as hell.

So install them last, unless your sticking with the OEM body style.

But my personal fave are the enkie rpf1s. Only thin spoke design rims i like. All the other ones i hate, Fat spokes ftw!

YA RPF1s arent concave, they have a very slight concave to them but nothing fancy. All 57 series from gram light have option concave and all but the pros are under 1600.

17x9.5 is easy to fit, but you didnt mention offsets. Theres also CST, Work XT7s...

they make those rotas in a number of colors too - but def Bee-R or even the uras ns-01 are sexy concave wheels. the 17x9 18x9.5 57max setup is hot.

Friends don't let friends run Rota's. Get the Gramlights. You really cannot go wrong with a Rays.

as for the enkei, they do have a concave on them, i'm not sure what offset but i'd be rockin the +18 on them

as for the car and picking that, i already have a sr20 waiting for it, coilovers, and my color is decided...and i wanna get wheels before i paint it so i can do a small roll on it and if i fuck up, i can easily fix it

where can i get prices on the r-bee's, cuz there sick

the uras had/has(if its still alive) a group buy - and a advertiser posted some great deals for them in 5 lug... and there was a post about them coming in 4 lug if there was enough interest (tho i think that one fell apart).

gravity wheels = nice i wanna see em in a different color tho.

uras ns-01 are discontinued. that's why all the groupbuys and the 4-lug buy are dead. and rpf-1 are about as concave as te37 cup's. :/

Gravity Gullflames are hot, I totally forgot about those wheels. Wasn't there a GB on them last spring?

To the OP, 17x9.5 RFF1s come with garbage offsets. The 17x9 +22 are a nice size for a more reasonable setup, I'd be running those with some 255/40/17s on my car if I had more money.

I don't see how Gram Lights are a good deal. Almost $400 a wheel for a cast wheel? Sure they're nicely made and good looking (well, some of them), but you could just spend a little more and get a forged wheel that's far superior, or spend a lot less and get more reasonably priced cast wheels like Enkeis, 5Zigens, MB Motorsports, Uras....etc etc.

Umm... 17 x 9.5 +18 only has like 2mm less inner clearance than the 9 +22. Sticks out 10mm more. I don't see how that's garbage in comparison...

My bad, when I had looked at them the only 9.5 available was +38 (US size chart). Didn't realize the JDM sizes included a lower offset 9.5. I guess that's a good size for looks/stretched tires/whatever is cool these days.
