Haha, no shit man. Been crazy busy with work and buying a house instead of building cars like I should be..
Btw I just looked at the calendar and that's a Friday... Is that date correct? Or is it an all weekend deal?

what do you think caused the axle to break? i didnt think mid 300's would brake an axle, at least not during straight line beating (maybe drifting with the lateral forces n such).

I went to thejackstand.com to see about getting the hydro hand brake you have with the cyl with built-in res. and I could not find where they sale it. Can you point me in the right direction on this I am also going to be running the dual caliper setup.

Hmm seems a few people have been breaking their axles with the DW knuckles. Could be unrelated...
Did the axles seem stretched at all? Maybe axle spacers would help... either way very interested |

probably warped slightly from fabrication, that happens!
Even the guys doing tubs, I'm surprised don't leave the strut bar on to help hold its shape while working.

no it warped from driving, pre any fab work. but during fabwork i made sure to leave the motor plates bolted to frame rails and strut tower bar attached and triangulated
haven't updated this much, figured there was no need. been researching axles and hubs/diffs/combinations/etc. id have more to report had my ideas worked but they didn't so oh well came up with my most reasonable solution being 350z differential and axles w/ oe 240sx hubs so i can keep my ben hurrs must cut out 2" of material so pinion angle remains OE uses 1 rear stud, 240sx cover did not interchange (sucks because all the ones at jyards had snapped that stud off ) the nuts are the previous internal "loose" nut setup so it bolts on just as it would have from the factory along wiht this i've eliminated my eccentrics for the toe arms and RUCA as well, on the ruca i've slotted the holes a good bit and welded my washers outwards. i want the option of up to +1 camber just so i can literally put it wherever i want (as-is wiht eccentric maxed its not enough camber can't even hit 0) I'm proud to say the 350z differential will be brand spanking new with fresh pinion bearings, fresh output shaft bearings and seals, 4.08 R&P from 2wd frontier new nissan OEM and a brand new custom spec'ed OS Giken 1.5 LSD. this shits gonna be a ripper! i plan on putting an optional RLCA flattening bolt hole with optional sway bar spacers and a couple other neat tricks on this subframe since its already illegal for anything professional anyways. anyways, ill report how it works this weekend after the event at TMS.

Stew you actually like having 4.08s? I feel like i want something taller like 3.8 or 3.7? I ended up finding a great deal on a face plated 30 spline gearbox locally. Thanks for all your info though. Still loving your trans?
