s13 Very strange brake light issues!

Hey guys I did a lot of searching and really didn't find any info on what my issue could be so any help would be great.

Welp....my brake lights don't work on my s13 hatch, plain and simple. I replaced brake lights, brake light switch, all proper fuses have been installed. Tested fuse and they do have power. The weird thing I found is that if my rear marker lights are on my brake lights don't work but if they are off they do. I live in california and I'm sure cali member know cops would love any excuse to pull over a 240 lol. I would prefer to not be one of their victims.another addition....dash lights all work, all blinkers work and all interior lights work proper. I thought it could be a short but my brake light fuses don't blow.

Anywho....any info will help. Thanks,

It sounds like the "high" current part of the (hopefully) 2 stage bulb is burned out. Make sure you put in the correct light bulbs back there. They should have 2 "Wire" filaments in them per bulb.
