Removing the a/c... it's freakin hot down here.
Solid motor and tranny mounts... never again. Cheap ass RUCA's... when they break it's no fun. Live and learn. Selling one finished car to start another project. . . seriously. |

buying a s14 with minor frame damage then hitting it on that same side and getting some shady shop to pull the frame looks like everything is good but the passanger wheel sits back just a little :[

Definitely not as easy as it sounds. Quote:

Even with these regrets, I wouldn't trade in for anything...it's been a great experience.

Did you run in under an 18-wheeler or something?

I'm pretty satisfied with my car in its current state. The only thing I "KINDA" regret doing is completely removing the interior. From the front seats to the back. I drive the car once a week to work and it just doesn't seem practical. Then again, it is the 'track' car... daily driving is for my s14.

I bought my car with a CA18DET and it had bad wiring problems, I swapped for an sr. If I could do it all over again I would have bought a wiring harness and power fc and saved about 2k$.. And I wouldnt have bought stupid little shit and instead had baller wheels and coils.

Spending the time and money to locate used injectors/Maf along with other parts to turn the boost up safely when I should have spent the money on a mechanical LSD. Spending about $1000 on Koni yellow/RSR race springs when I could almost have bought coilovers. Or even just bought Ground Control sleeves vs. the RSR springs. Still rides awesome though.

That happened to me, only my friend was the one driving the car while I was at work and got into an unavoidable interstate accident. He had to take the outside shoulder or eat another car in front of him.

I remember watching that. Your car is so clean and so powerful. Yet, from that damage it builds character!
Thing I did to my 240 that I wish I didn't do, tow it to a "friends" house to do an engine swap in what he said was "2 weeks" that turned in to "4 months" and included "stolen parts". Gotta love socal. |
