s13 Kouki RPS13 keyless entry?

Anyone know if the wireless entry will work on a 1998 rps13 with a new full key set from Nissan (keys, locks and ignition lock)?
Where is the radio/ir receiver on the car, and do I need to recalibrate it somehow, or is the key's radio/ir signature built into the ignition lock?

The car should have come with wireless entry originally, but when I bought it it only came with the spare key (no wireless key fob) which would not open the trunk or glove box (maybe it's the valet key?)

Thanks for any help!

Thanks, Rawgarage.

Excuse my ignorance, but where does one find the FCC code, and is that still applicable to non-US cars? (I am guessing that FCC = Federal Communications Commission or whatever)

How would one go about reprogramming the remote?

Contact your Nissan dealership. They should be able to help you out with the code, I would think.

So... ended up buying a full key and cylinder replacement, which I just installed! (Except the glove box -- my original set had only the valet key, and I wasn't able to figure out how to get the glove box key cylinder out without unlocking it... any tips?)

But my point - I have an oem kouki key with remote, to go with my kouki car, which should also have had keyless entry. SO. None of the online "how to set your key remote" tutorials worked -- does anyone have any ideas??

Cheers
